Recent Upgrades
Riu Tropical Bay was upgraded to a Riu Palace hotel in late 2008. All guestrooms were converted into Junior Suites and Suites. The restaurants and public areas were all refurbished and the facilities were updated to provide a unique and exciting resort experience with an emphasis on personal service and all the special details that define Riu's Palace brand.
